IT MIGRATING ALL UT FACULTY AND STAFF TO OFFICE 365

The University of Toledo is working to migrate all faculty and staff to Microsoft Office 365, a cloud-based service.

Work is underway on Health Science Campus and is scheduled to be completed by the end of February, with Main Campus and the rest of the University migration set to begin during the first week of March. Students were migrated to Office 365 in 2015.

UT 3D/VIR EFFORTS HIGHLIGHTED IN GARTNER PAPER

Gartner, Inc., a leading research and advisory company, recently published a paper on “Best Practices for Virtual Reality in Higher Education.” Vice President CIO/CTO Bill McCreary was one of several technology leaders in higher education interviewed by the company.

NEW PARKING APP AVAILABLE

Just in time for the 2017-18 academic year, Parking Services launched the new UT Parking app Monday, Aug. 28. The free app is available for both Android and iOS devices, including iPhones, iPads and other mobile devices.

Faculty, staff and students may install the new app on their smart phones by searching for University of Toledo Parking in the App and Play stores. The app also may be found at the following links: for Android users here; and for iOS users (iPhones and iPads) here.
