Tyler Ulbricht, who graduated Saturday with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, applied what he learned in class to a 13-month project, a roller coaster he created named “Rocket Run.”

John Ruth, a senior studying mechanical engineering, explains the workings of the Manual Moringa Seed Dehuller as Dr. Heidi Appel, dean of the Jesup Scott Honors College and professor of environmental sciences, turns the machine by hand. The student project was among more than 60 others in the College of Engineering’s Senior Design Expo Friday in Nitschke Hall.
