\u00a0UNIVERSITY OF TOLEDO\u2019S CHAPTER OF KAPPA DELTA PI, INTERNATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY IN EDUCATION, INDUCTS 21 NEW MEMBERS<\/strong><\/p>\n

Kappa Delta Pi, International Honor Society in Education, is pleased to announce that 21 have been invited and inducted into its membership through the Zeta Epsilon Chapter of University of Toledo.<\/p>\n

The initiation ceremony took place on April 11, 2019 in Gillham Hall in the Judith Herb College of Education. Dr. Judy Lambert and Dr. Susanna Hapgood, who serve as faculty advisors for the chapter, performed the initiation of new inductees. Dr. Jenny Denyer, guest speaker at the evening\u2019s ceremony, shared adventures of her 30 years as an educator. Approximately 50 inductees, family members, and friends attended the induction, which was made especially memorable by the stories guests shared of their most influential teachers.<\/p>\n

The Society inducts only those individuals who have exhibited the ideals of scholarship, integrity in service, and commitment to excellence in teaching and its allied professions. Selection as a member of Kappa Delta Pi is based on high academic achievement, a commitment to education as a career, and a professional attitude that assures steady growth in the profession.<\/p>\n
