UToledo Sailing Club Charts Impressive Success | UToledo News

The club bested many prominent sailing teams in competitions last fall, including a third-place finish on the first day of racing at the Inter-Collegiate Sailing Association National Championship. “Once I started sailing, I fell in love with it and grew into the role of commodore, which is basically president in non-nautical terms,” said Fraker, a senior civil and environmental engineering student.

2022 AIAA Durand Lectureship for Public Service Awarded to SpaceX’s William H. Gerstenmaier

 Gerstenmaier holds a bachelor’s degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics Engineering from Purdue University, as well as a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and an honorary Ph.D. in Aeronautics and Astronautics Engineering from the University of Toledo.

Corps Awards Infrastructure Grant To Company To Study 3D Printing For Parts – The Waterways Journal

ERDC awarded an “Intelligent and Resillient Infrastructure” grant to Eaton and the University of Toledo to study 3D printing of high-strength parts. The University of Toledo will leverage its Polymer Institute; Center for Materials and Sensor Characterization; Failure, Fracture and Fatigue Laboratory; and Micro/Nano-Mechanics Laboratory.
