University of Toledo awarded over $474,000 to train engineers in autonomous vehicle tech | WNWO

The state of Ohio has awarded The University of Toledo (UT)$474,287 for equipment to train College of Engineering students in development of autonomous vehicles and manufacturing robotics. Gov. Mike DeWine recently announced the funds as part of the Department of Higher Education’s Regionally Aligned Priorities in Delivering Skills (RAPIDS) program including $975,000 total for the region and $8 million total for Ohio.
