As a convenience for our students, fastfingerprints will be at the Judith Herb College of Education to process background checks on September 3, 2019

A current background check is required to be on file before any field experience begins.  This is a great opportunity to get your background check completed without having to go to the UT Police or off-campus.

Background checks are required for students who are:

• taking EDU 1700 Intro to Education
• taking CIEC 4340 Infant & Toddler
• completing any professional education-level method/practicum experience

The Ohio Chancellor’s Council on Graduate Studies has recently approved a new program for the Judith Herb College of Education:  The Principal Licensure Graduate Certificate.

The certificate will afford current educators, with a Master’s degree, to earn the principal license. The graduate certificate requires students to complete 21 semester hours of coursework comprised of the educational administration and supervision’s 7 core graduate-level courses and 220 hours of field experience.  Courses are offered face-to-face, distance learning, and blended.
