February 20th, 2021Since FDA’s emergency use authorization of the first COVID-19 monoclonal antibodies treatment in November 2020, there have been many efforts to improve access to and administration of these treatments. With increasingly strong signals from ongoing clinical trials that these antibody treatments are reducing serious illness and hospitalization in newly-diagnosed COVID-19 patients, how can the United States learn from these efforts and ensure that we are adequately utilizing our available supply?
