Since FDA’s emergency use authorization of the first COVID-19 monoclonal antibodies treatment in November 2020, there have been many efforts to improve access to and administration of these treatments. With increasingly strong signals from ongoing clinical trials that these antibody treatments are reducing serious illness and hospitalization in newly-diagnosed COVID-19 patients, how can the United States learn from these efforts and ensure that we are adequately utilizing our available supply? Join Duke-Margolis and invited experts from health systems, infusion centers, long-term care facilities, manufacturers, and state and Federal government as we discuss promising practices at all levels to encourage equitable distribution and use of these important treatments.

Webinar topics will include:

    • An overview of progress-to-date and emerging clinical evidence—discussion with former FDA Commissioners Mark McClellan (Duke-Margolis), Scott Gottlieb (American Enterprise Institute)
    • Updates on state distribution approaches and support mechanisms
    • Highlights from frontline providers and infusion experts on early promising practices
    • Challenges that lie ahead related to payment, emerging COVID-19 variants, and equitable access
    • Speakers include former three former FDA Commissioners and well as representatives from Eli Lily and Company, Regeneron, Texas Department of State Health Service, National Home Infusion Association and more. Click here for a full list of speakers.
